September 2

Morning swim at Penfield Beach. No other Nation's folks, but 2 coaches & a friend of Dennis'.
1.4 miles, 52 min.
Now we all begin to taper, meaning shorter, less intense workouts, to get our bodies to absorb the hard work, and not break down muscles any further before raceday, now just 12 days away.
Bike tune up tomorrow, then Kick off breakfast Sunday (when they take my bike away for transportation), with some workouts in between.
