Run intervals this morning. Yecch! Ran 45 sec. on (hard sprint), off until heart rate settled (using a heart rate monitor), 45 sec on, etc. Jogging in between. Did 10 sets. Tiring, but they tell me it really helps with fatigue. The idea is to get lactic acid to build up in the legs (lactic acid is what causes the muscle pain with exercise), then settle. Done repeatedly with little rest, it tends to extend the time before the lactic acid disables the muscle. It still is no fun.
